| CASE 7: FEMALE ABDOMINOPLASTY WITH UMBILICAL TRANSLOCATION (Total Abdominoplasty): 36 yrs F presented with large protruding abdomen which appeared like a perpetual pregnancy. The muscles had weakened to such an extent that they could not hold the intestines inside. She had constant back pain and low aching pain in the abdomen area all the time. During surgery the muscles and their covering were found to be as thin as a paper. Total Abdominoplasty completely transformed her looks, posture, and walk and gave her tremendous self-confidence. Here, the after pictures were taken one year after surgery. This operation, like others, was done totally under local anaesthesia.
