Lax vagina can be retightened to remove the laxity which develops due to ageing or pregnancies. Vaginal cavity is narrowed to improve self-esteem and sex life. The procedure takes about an hour. It is performed like a walk-in-walk-out procedure. The anesthesia is tumescent local anesthesia which makes the surgery entirely painless and bloodless. In western world women may be so self-conscious about them that they're willing to pay from $5000 to $7000 to reduce large labia majora by surgical incision or liposuction.

LABIA AUGMENTATION SURGERY

Very thin or depleted labia majora or minor can be augmented with body fat transfer to give them attractive fullness. It is a safe procedure and is quite prevalent in Western countries.

THE AGING VULVA

With age, the vulvar structure loses substance and elasticity. The inner thighs and hips may also be involved in loss of support and elasticity. The entire perineal area including inner thighs can be rejuvenated by excising the loose and lax inner thigh skin and fat and performing lifting/tightening procedure on the perineal bed. Filler substances like body fat or commercially available can be used to augment loss of volume of labia majora or minora.
